Steel Ladders
Steel ladders are fastened directly to the building. Specifications for both Steel Ladders or Aluminum ladders are the same.

Specifications for Ladders
• Rungs are uniformly spaced with not less than 250 mm and not more than 300 mm apart • Maintain the clearance of at least 150 mm between the rungs and the structure to which the ladder is attached • Securely fastened at the top and bottom complete with intermediate points to prevent ladder sway • Side rails to extend at least 1 meter above any platform, roof or other landing on the structure to which the ladder is fixed to. • If ladder is more than 6 meters high, it must be equipped with a cage, platforms or a personal fall arrest system
